연구실 소개
방승민 교수의 연구실은 췌장암 및 간내膽관암 등 소화기계 암의 발병 기전과 치료 반응을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 췌장암의 조기 진단 및 치료 전략 수립을 위해 FDG-PET 영상 진단과 함께 종양 미세환경, 대사 재편, 혈관신생 등 핵심 생물학적 메커니즘을 탐구하고 있습니다. 또한 스탠틴과 같은 약물의 항암 효과 및 조혈모세포 전환 관련 전사인자(Oct4, Nanog)의 역할을 통해 암 발생의 초기 단계를 해부하고 있습니다. 이와 함께 환자 유래 세포를 활용한 3D 생체모방 모델을 도입해 약물 내성과 전이 메커니즘을 실시간으로 분석하고 있습니다.

15FDG-PET is a very useful tool in diagnosing pancreatic cancer. FDG-PET may be also used as an adjunct for determining the treatment modality of pancreatic cancer and evaluating tumor response to chemoradiation therapy.
