연구실 소개

이신우 교수의 연구실은 유기 고분자 기반의 전도성 고분자 물질을 활용한 신소재 액추에이터 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 특히, 전기화학적 성질을 가진 폴리아니린(PANi)을 전극으로 사용해 금속 전극을 대체한 전면 유기성 이온 고분자 액추에이터를 개발하며, 높은 유연성과 내구성, 저비용을 동시에 확보하고자 합니다. 또한 고속 발전기의 동적 거동 분석을 위한 유한요소 모델링 및 진동 해석 기법 개발을 통해 항공우주 및 자동차 분야의 경량·고성능 전력 시스템 구현을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

Actuation Characteristics of All-Organic Polymer Actuator with Conducting Polymer Electrode

A conducting polymer was used to replace the metal electrode of ionic-polymer metal composite (IPMC)to remedy the problems of the metal electrode, which were high cost, long fabrication time, and failure during the long-term actuation. Polyaniline (PANi) of high conductivity was attached on a bare or plasma-etched Nafion membrane to comprise all-organic polymer actuators. To remove the metal electrode and comprise all-organic ionic polymer actuators, tri-layer actuators with anion exchange membranes and conducting polymer electrode were purposely fabricated by the simple attaching method with or without an adhesive layer.
