강신원 교수의 연구실은 전기기계시스템, 특히 유도기와 영구자석 synchronous 모터의 고성능 제어 기술에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 고정밀 예측 제어, 강인한 외란 관측 기반 제어, 그리고 전력 전자 변환기의 효율성 향상을 위한 혁신적 제어 전략 개발이 핵심 연구 분야입니다. 특히 전력 인버터의 고전압, 고전류 응용 분야에서의 안정성과 효율성을 극대화하기 위한 실시간 제어 기법과 모듈러 인버터 시스템의 순환 전류 억제 기술도 활발히 연구되고 있습니다.
