연구실 소개
유소영 교수의 연구실은 뇌질환, 특히 뇌졸중과 유전성 미토콘드리아질환(MELAS)에서 나타나는 뇌부종의 병리생리학적 변화를 중심으로 신경영상학적 소견과 조직학적 손상의 연속성을 규명하고 있습니다. 또한 선천성 및 조기 출생 아동의 뇌 영상 소견과 신경학적 예후 간의 연관성을 분석하며, 특히 뇌경화성 병변과 뇌파일러 병변의 임상적 의미를 규명하고 있습니다. 더불어 소아 암 생존자에서 발생하는 간의 양성 혈관성 병변의 영상학적 특징을 동적 MRI를 통해 특징화하고 있으며, 이는 정밀 진단과 추적 관찰에 기여하고 있습니다.

15The cytotoxic edema gradually evolves following an acute stroke-like episode in patients with MELAS, and this may overlap with hyper-perfusion and vasogenic edema. The edematous swelling may be reversible or it may evolve to encephalomalacia, suggesting irreversible damage.
Although the incidence of DEHSI was high (75%) in preterm infants at near-term-equivalent age MR imaging, DEHSI was not predictive of following adverse outcomes. Cystic encephalomalacia and punctate lesions were more significant predictors of cerebral palsy.

PURPOSE: Our aim was to retrospectively review the imaging findings of patients with neonatal ovarian torsion, emphasizing prenatal and postnatal sonographic findings. Benign hypervascular hepatic nodules in survivors of childhood malignancy occur years after high-dose chemotherapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Dynamic MRI findings including intense arterial enhancement and absence of washout in the delayed phase are of great value in the differential diagnosis of these hepatic nodules.
