연구실 소개
곽수헌 교수의 연구실은 당뇨병의 유전적 및 에피제네틱적 기반을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 임신성 당뇨병(GDM)과 제2형 당뇨병(T2DM)의 유전적 위험 요소, 미토콘드리아 기능 이상, DNA 메틸화 변화 등이 질병 발병에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 한국인을 대상으로 한 대규모 유전체 및 메틸로믹스 연구를 통해 개인 맞춤형 예방 전략 개발에 기여하고자 합니다.
