박수형 교수의 연구실은 항공우주 분야의 유체역학 및 난류 해석 기반의 고정밀 수치해석 기법 개발을 핵심으로 하며, 특히 다상유동, 초음속 유동, 난류 모델링 및 다중 스케일 유동 해석에 응용되는 고성능 수치 해법을 연구하고 있습니다. 다양한 맥스 수류 조건에서 안정적이고 정확한 해를 확보하기 위한 전조 조건 기반의 다중 격자 기법과 Godunov형 수치 스킴의 비산성 메커니즘 분석을 통해 수치적 정확도를 향상시키는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한, 이론적 분석과 실험 데이터 기반의 검증을 결합한 혁신적인 유동 해석 기법을 개발하여 항공기 및 미사일 시스템의 설계 및 성능 최적화에 기여하고 있습니다.

Three κ-ω turbulence models using linear and nonlinear eddy-viscosity formulations are implemented in an implicit multigrid method. Detailed techniques of implementation are presented and discussed. Freezing and limiting strategies are applied to improve robustness and convergence of the multigrid method.
