This study aims to perform a contrastive analysis of the semantic expansion of the adjective “spicy” in the Korean and Chinese. Words affiliated with the Korean “맵다” and “辣[là]” are objects of analysis. First, both the meanings of “맵다” and “辣” are expanded to include the sense of pain as they share the models of this spicy-painful taste in hot pepper and mustard. 본 연구는 현실요법을 적용한 미술치료가 노인의 우울에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 70세 남자 노인으로 두 번의 이혼과 한번 자살 경험이 있고, 정신과 전문의로부터 우울증 진단을 받은 노인이다. 프로그램 실시기간은 2007년 2월 14일부터 6월 30일까지 추후 검사까지 총16회기 실시하였다. 우울 변화를 알아보기 위해 자기평가 우울 척도(SDS), 사전ㆍ사후ㆍ추후검사로 분석하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 자기평가 우울 척도(SDS)에서 사후검사가 사전검사에 비해 34점이나 감소되었다. 1개월 후 실시한 추후검사에서도 사후검사에 비해 5점이나 감소되어 우울증상이 현저하게 감소되었다. 따라서 현실요법을 적용한 미술치료가 이혼․자살 경험 노인의 우울 감소에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 입증하였다.

This paper engages in a comparative analysis of the aspects of semantic expansion of the corpus of adjectives meaning ‘sweet’ in Korean and Chinese from the perspective of experientialism in cognitive linguistics. The study finds that the expansion of the meaning of ‘sweet-tasting’ is manifested in metonymy and metaphor. 이 논문은 우도·비양도·가파도·마라도 등 제주도 안의 4개 도서를 3지점으로 나누어 어촌생활어를 생태학적으로 조사, 연구한 것이다. 조사된 어휘 가운데 바 다동물 관련 35개 어휘와 바다식물 관련 16개 어휘 등 51개 어휘를 포함하여 총 8개 분야 106개 어휘에 대하여, 생태 측정을 위한 설문지가 작성되었다. 설 문 조사는 30·40대, 50대, 70대 이상 등 3세대로 나눠 실시하였다. 30대와 40 대를 묶어서 조사한 것은 조사 지점이 도서지역이어서 30대 인구가 많지 않기 때문이다. 조사 결과, 70대 이상 응답자들은 51개의 해산물 관련 어휘 중 52.9%인 27 개 어휘에서 방언형을 100% 쓰고 있으나, 50대에선 29.4%인 15개 어휘, 30대 에선 11.7%인 6개 어휘만 방언형을 쓰고 있다. 생태 지수가 50% 이하인 어휘 는 70대 이상에서 13.7%인 7개 어휘이고, 50대에서는 5.9%인 3개 어휘, 30·40 대에서는 27.5%인 14개 어휘로 나타났다.
