이수정 교수의 연구실은 생물학적 혈관 형성과 관련된 유전자 다형성, 특히 VEGF 유전자 변이가 폐암 발병 위험에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 식물 유래 발효 식품, 특히 쿠지뽕(쿠드라니아 트리쿠스피다) 식초의 발효 과정과 품질 특성에 대한 연구를 통해 미생물 발효 기술과 기능성 식품 개발을 융합한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 더불어 기업의 이익 조작 및 회계 정책, 특히 주식 기부 시 주식 가격 조작 가능성을 분석하는 금융·회계 분야의 연구도 진행 중입니다.
