연구실 소개

신수민 교수의 연구실은 철공학 및 재료 과학 분야에서 고온에서의 반응 거동, 특히 철의 탄소화, 융해 및 상호작용 메커니즘을 실험적·관찰적 기법을 통해 연구합니다. 동시에 산업 응용에 기여할 수 있는 금속-산화물 상호작용, 접촉역학, 그리고 지속 가능한 소재 개발을 위한 표면 반응 메커니즘 분석도 수행하고 있습니다. 최근에는 지식 유동성과 조직 내 정보 공유 전략, 금융 안정성 평가 모델링 등 다학제적 연구로도 확장되고 있습니다.

The carburizing, melting, and dripping behavior of iron through graphite and coke beds was investigated by an in-situ observation technique with increasing temperature from room temperature to 1773 K. Using the sessile drop technique, the contact angle between a liquid Fe–19%Cr–10%Ni drop and a dense alumina substrate was measured under H2 as well as CO2–H2 atmospheres in the temperature range of 1753 to 1823 K.
