연구실 소개

강수용 교수의 연구실은 스토리지 시스템과 연속 미디어 서버의 성능 최적화를 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. NAND 플래시 메모리의 한계를 보완하기 위한 NVRAM 기반 쓰기 버퍼 기법, 캐싱에 기반한 통계적 서비스 허용 제어, 연속 미디어 스트리밍을 위한 고성능 파일 구성 기법, 다중 존 기록 디스크를 활용한 블록 배치 최적화 등 다양한 스토리지 아키텍처 기반의 성능 향상 기법을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히, 변수 비트레이트 영상 데이터의 스무딩과 통계적 다중화 기법을 활용한 전역 최적화 전략 개발에 주력하고 있습니다.
