연구실 소개
토마스 스타인버거 교수의 연구실은 기술과 인간 행동의 상호작용을 중심으로, 데이터 과학, 인공지능, 시각 장애인의 디지털 접근성, 복원 과정에서의 기술 사용, 그리고 상실과 기억을 유지하는 사진 사용 방식 등 다양한 사회적 맥락에서의 기술적 실천을 탐구합니다. 특히 도메인 전문가, 시각 장애인, 복원자, 슬픔을 겪는 부모 등 특정 사용자 집단의 실질적 경험에 기반한 실증적 연구를 통해 기술 설계의 사회적 의미를 깊이 있게 분석합니다. 연구는 주로 현장 관찰과 심층 인터뷰를 바탕으로 하며, 기술의 '사용'과 '의미 부여' 과정에 초점을 맞춥니다.
