연구실 소개
신수미 교수의 연구실은 신경외과 및 소아청소년과 분야에서 주로 활동하며, 희귀 뇌신경질환의 병리학적 특성과 임상 경과를 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 뇌막성 혈관조직형성증( meningioangiomatosis )을 동반한 뇌막종의 임상적 특성과 생물학적 특성에 대한 다수의 사례 보고를 통해 진단 및 예후 평가의 기초 자료를 제공하고 있습니다. 또한 소아 환자의 기도 및 소화기계 질환, 특히 부식성 식도수축의 내 endoscopic 치료 성과에 대해서도 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 호흡기질환 환자에서의 고해상도 CT 평가 체계 개발을 통해 임상적 중증도와의 연관성을 규명하고 있습니다. 이와 더불어 치과재료의 광경화 특성 및 유리세라믹의 광투과성에 대한 기초 연구를 통해 치의학 분야의 임상적 응용 가능성도 모색하고 있습니다.

15Meningioangiomatosis is a unique, rare hamartomatous lesion. We have developed a new HRCT scoring system for BPD based on the quantitative evaluation of pulmonary abnormalities of BPD consisting of the hyperaeration score and the parenchymal score. The HRCT score shows better correlation with the clinical severity of BPD than the radiographic score.
