연구실 소개
정수민 교수의 연구실은 만성질환의 조기 예방과 건강 위험 요인의 동적 변화를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 청소년기 및 성인기의 콜레스테롤 수치 변화, 비만 지표의 정확성, 흡연 중단과 심혈관질환 간의 연관성 등 생애주기적 요인과 질병 발생 간의 인과관계를 대규모 건강보험 데이터를 기반으로 분석하고 있습니다. 또한 식물성 항산화 물질의 열처리에 의한 생리활성 변화에 대한 기초 연구도 병행하여, 영양소의 가공 조건이 건강에 미치는 영향을 탐구하고 있습니다.
