서지현 교수의 연구실은 기술 혁신의 시간적 동적 과정과 기술 정책의 성패를 다각도로 분석합니다. 특히 한국의 WiBro 기술이 처음에는 높은 기대를 모았지만, 빠르게 변화하는 모바일 기술 환경 속에서 시장에서 퇴출된 사례를 중심으로 기술의 성패 요인을 탐구합니다. 기술 개발자, 정책 결정자, 소비자 등 다양한 이해관계자 간의 상호작용과 비전 공유의 중요성을 분석하며, 기술 혁신의 실패 원인을 체계적으로 해석합니다. 기술 정책의 설계와 실행에 실질적 통찰을 제공하는 데 초점을 맞춥니다.
