연구실 소개

배석주 교수의 연구실은 신뢰성 공학과 수리통계학을 기반으로 한 고도화된 신뢰성 평가 모델을 개발하고 있습니다. 주로 전자소자 및 디스플레이 기기의 수명 주기 내 내구성과 고장 메커니즘을 비모수적·비선형 모형으로 분석하며, 특히 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널(PDP)과 진공형 플루오레스센트 디스플레이(VFD)의 비선형 열화 경로를 랜덤 계수와 변화점 모델을 통해 정밀하게 기술합니다. 또한 웨이퍼 맵의 결함 공간 분포를 분석하는 데서부터 시작해 반도체 공정의 수율 예측 모델링까지 응용 범위를 넓히고 있습니다. 이와 같은 연구들은 실생활 제품의 신뢰성 향상과 결함 예측에 기여하고 있습니다.

In testing display devices such as Plasma Display Panels (PDPs), the observed degradation in luminosity can exhibit an unstable period due to incomplete burn-in during the manufacturing process.
