연구실 소개
변석호 교수의 연구실은 망막 질환의 발병 기전과 치료 전략을 탐구하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 산화 스트레스에 의한 망막 pigment 상피세포의 생존 반응과 VEGF 신호 전달 경로의 역할을 중심으로 기초 생물학적 메커니즘을 규명하고 있으며, 이를 바탕으로 소프트형 전기 자극 장치와 같은 신개념 망막 보철물 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 또한 유리체술의 최적화 및 망막 탈거 시 각층의 두께 변화를 분석함으로써 임상적 치료 결과를 개선하는 데 목적이 있습니다.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: To investigate the factors related to postoperative hypotony after 25-gauge sutureless vitrectomy.
