표석훈 교수의 연구실은 초고강도 concrete 및 친환경 건축자재 개발을 핵심으로 하며, 특히 시멘트 대체재인 보급재 및 철강 부산물 등을 활용한 초고성능 concrete(UHPC)와 지질체르모폴리머의 물성 및 환경 영향을 종합적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 특히, CO₂ 배출 감소를 위한 원료 대체 전략과 혼화물의 입자배열 최적화, 유동성 제어 기술을 접목한 지속가능한 콘크리트 설계에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 연구는 환경 친화성과 기계적 성능의 균형을 추구하며, 실용적 응용 가능성을 고려한 혼합비 설계 기반의 혁신적 소재 개발을 지속하고 있습니다.
