연구실 소개

강석조 교수의 연구실은 나노소재 기반의 약물 전달 시스템을 핵심으로, 특히 초대구경 다공성 실리카 나노입자(XL-MSNs)를 활용한 생체 분자, 특히 사이토카인의 안정적이고 비침습적 체내 전달 기술을 개발하고 있습니다. 이는 뇌내 면역 반응 조절을 목표로 하는 다발성 경화증 등 신경면역질환의 치료에 응용되며, 매크로파지의 대사적 활성화를 유도하는 면역조절 메커니즘을 규명하고 있습니다. 특히, 비침습적 비강 투여를 통한 뇌조직 특이적 약물 전달 전략과 면역세포의 시공간적 조절 원리를 탐구하고 있습니다.
