임선아 교수의 연구실은 면역학적 조절 메커니즘과 대사 재프로그래밍이 종양 미세환경에서 조절 T세포(Treg)의 기능에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 암에서 Treg가 면역 회피를 어떻게 유도하는지, 그리고 대사 경로가 Treg의 활성화와 기능에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 이는 종양의 진행 메커니즘 규명과 새로운 면역치료 전략 개발에 기여할 잠재력을 지닙니다.
