연구실 소개
장성아 교수의 연구실은 심장질환, 특히 심부전과 심근경색을 중심으로 한 심장재생의학과 심장구조 기능의 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 혈관성질환과 심장 리모델링의 분자기전, 특히 스태mlin 약물의 심장 보호 효과와 면역·염증 반응 조절 메커니즘을 다루며, 영상진단 기술(예: PET/CT)을 활용한 심막질환의 정확한 진단 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 특히 심장의 기계적 기능과 구조적 변화를 실시간으로 분석할 수 있는 초음파 및 스트레인 측정 기술을 응용한 기초·임상 연계 연구를 지속하고 있습니다.
