김성아 교수의 연구실은 건축·구조·건설 분야의 디지털 전환을 선도하고 있으며, BIM(Building Information Modeling)과 디지털 트윈 기반의 스마트 인프라 솔루션 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히, 실시간 모니터링과 수명 예측 기술을 접목한 소음차단터널(NBT)의 유지보수 효율성 향상 및 경제성 분석 모델 개발을 통해 지속가능한 도시 인프라 구축을 목표로 합니다. 또한, 초기 설계 단계에서의 정확한 비용 추정과 BIM 수용도 분석을 통해 실무 현장에 실질적인 기여를 하고자 합니다.

BIM 견적 작업 생산성 향상을 위한 업무 환경 조성에 관한 연구

BIM 적용으로 인해 비용절감 효과를 얻은 사례가 많은 학회, 보고서, 세미나 등을 통해 보고되고 있다. 이러한 사례에서는 BIM을 적용하여 재작업 및 재시공방지와 같은 직접적인 비용 절감 효과를 얻을 수 있다고 언급하고 있다. 또한 작업시간 단축, 업무 생산성 향상과 같이 비용으로 환산할 수 없는 효과도 존재한다. 국내외 BIM 사용자들은 BIM 적용으로 인한 비용절감에 관한 잠재적인 가치가 있다고 판단하고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 국내에서는 BIM 적용으로 인한 뚜렷한 경제적 가치(ROI)가 드러나지 않고 있으며, 국내 BIM 사용자들도 경제적 성과에 대해서 부정적인 반응을 보이고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경제적 가치로 환산 하기 어려운 작업시간, 생산성 향상과 같은 BIM 적용 효과를 진단하고, BIM 적용 효과를 얻기 위해서 수반되어야 하는 것들은 무엇인지 살펴보고자 한다. 그리고 본 연구는 건설 프로젝트 생애주기 동안 다양한 분야에 적용될 수 있는 BIM의 적용효과를 견적
