김성희 교수의 연구실은 재료 과학과 에너지 기술, 의료 및 의공학 분야에서 다학제적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 그래핀 기반 양극재의 열역학적 안정성과 산화환원 특성, 나노복합 전극 소재의 개발을 통해 고성능 리튬이온 배터리 및 유연한 전자소자 응용을 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 의료 분야에서는 갑상선암의 임상적 특성과 치료 전략, 특히 문제 없는 갑상선암의 예후 요인 분석을 통해 정밀의료에 기여하고자 합니다. 고도의 시뮬레이션 기반 간호 교육 모델 개발을 통해 실무 능력 향상에도 기여하고 있습니다.
