연구실 소개

정승준 교수의 연구실은 신경생물학과 이온채널 기반의 통증 메커니즘을 중심으로, 특히 TRPV1 및 I(h) 채널과 같은 이온 채널이 만성 통증, 비정상적인 민감도, 신경병성 통증 등에서 어떻게 기능하는지 규명하고자 합니다. 특히, 다량의 자극에 반응하는 TRPV1 채널의 활성화 메커니즘과 그 조절 요소(예: TLR4, DAG, 자율신경 조절)에 대한 분자 기전을 연구하며, 통증 완화를 위한 새로운 약물 타겟을 모색하고 있습니다. 또한, eugenol과 같은 천연 화합물이 이온 채널과 수용체에 미치는 영향을 전기생리학적·분자생물학적 방법으로 분석하고 있습니다.
