연구실 소개
정성준 교수의 연구실은 신경과학과 신경내과 분야에 초점을 맞추며, 특히 뇌신경병변과 관련된 신경학적 장애, 특히 두개신경 마비와 뇌졸중의 유전적 기전을 연구하고 있습니다. 뇌간 및 척수 신경 손상, 특히 제IX 및 제X 신경 손상에 의한 식도운동 이상과 음성장애의 기전을 영상의학, 전기생리학적 검사 및 유전자 분석을 통해 규명하고 있습니다. 또한 한국인 집단을 대상으로 한 뇌졸중 관련 유전자 다형성(특히 BIRC5 유전자)의 역할을 분석하여 개인 맞춤형 뇌졸중 예방 및 치료 전략 개발을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

2We report a 57-year-old man with bilateral cranial nerve IX and X palsies who presented with severe dysphagia. After a mild head injury, the patient complained of difficult swallowing.
