김성목 교수의 연구실은 의료 영상 기술과 첨단 메카트로닉스 시스템의 융합을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 저선량 코로나리 계측, 혈관 및 심장 기능 평가를 위한 고해상도 영상 기술, 그리고 심장 질환의 조기 진단을 위한 비침습적 영상 진단 기법 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 동시에 고성능 parallel 메커니즘 설계와 운동학적 해석을 통해 로봇 및 히어로 장치의 정밀성과 안정성을 향상시키는 기계공학적 기반 연구도 진행하고 있습니다.
