박성열 교수의 연구실은 우수한 수술적 결과를 바탕으로 로봇 보조 외과 수술 기술의 발전과 적용을 주요 연구 방향으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 상부 비뇨기계 악성 종양 치료를 위한 로봇 보조 신우절제술 및 전립선절제술의 안정성과 효율성에 대한 임상적 연구를 지속적으로 수행하고 있으며, 약물 치료의 내성 문제를 해결하고자 천연물질과 표적항암제의 병용 효과에 대해서도 기초 및 임상 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 이는 환자의 치료 성과 향상과 함께, 최소 침습 수술 기술의 진보를 위한 핵심 연구 분야입니다.
