연구실 소개
이성청 교수의 연구실은 종교와 정치의 관계를 기존의 권력 다이내믹에 국한하지 않고, 다종교적 상호작용이 새로운 정체성과 공동체 의식을 형성하는 데 기여할 수 있음을 탐구합니다. 특히 시민종교(civil religion)의 개념을 다각도로 재고하며, 종교가 권력의 도구가 되기보다는 정신적·도덕적·정치적 연대의 기반으로 기능할 수 있는 조건을 분석합니다. 이와 함께 다종교적 대화의 실천적 사례를 바탕으로 사회적 규범, 정책, 문화적 압력의 변화를 연구합니다.
