최성욱 교수의 연구실은 주로 관절 및 뼈 손상의 수술적 치료와 조직공학적 재생의학에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 히알루론산 기반 생체재료를 활용한 연골 재생, 자기공명영상(MRI) 진단용 기능성 나노입자 개발, 그리고 어깨 및 길항골 골절의 수술적 치료 전략에 대한 임상적 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 다양한 생체재료와 수술 기법을 융합한 맞춤형 정형외과 치료법 개발이 핵심 연구 방향입니다.
