연구실 소개
김선영 교수의 연구실은 노화와 관련된 신체 기능 저하, 특히 근육량 감소와 뼈 밀도 감소의 연관성을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 한국 어르신들을 대상으로 한 건강 조사 자료를 바탕으로 체형 측정치(예: 허리둘레)와 근육량, 뼈 밀도 간의 상관관계를 분석하며, 퇜력성 증후군과 골다공로시스의 조기 진단 기준을 제시하고자 합니다. 또한 전통 약재의 혈액 순환 개선 작용과 항응고 작용 메커니즘을 화학적 분석을 통해 규명하고 있습니다.

15The optimal cut-off values of CC for low MM are 35 cm for males and 33 cm for females. Lower CC based on these cut-off values is related with poor physical function. CC may be also a good indicator of sarcopenia in Korean elderly.

Cinnamomum cassia is a well-known traditional medicine for improvement of blood circulation.
