연구실 소개
김선영 교수의 연구실은 노화와 관련된 신체 기능 저하 및 근육량 감소와 같은 노인 건강 문제를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 족경위(근육량의 단순한 대체 지표)를 활용한 사르코페니아 진단 기준 설정과 함께, 한국 노인을 대상으로 한 뼈밀도와 근육량 간의 연관성 분석을 통해 노화 관련 질환의 조기 진단 및 예방 전략을 모색하고 있습니다. 또한 모바일 헬스(m-Health) 기반의 건강 간병 기술 도입에 있어서도 중저소득국가 및 아프리카 지역의 실천 사례를 분석하여, 효과적인 건강 서비스 확산을 위한 이론적 기반을 제시하고 있습니다.

15The optimal cut-off values of CC for low MM are 35 cm for males and 33 cm for females. Lower CC based on these cut-off values is related with poor physical function. CC may be also a good indicator of sarcopenia in Korean elderly.
BACKGROUND: Recently there has been dramatic increase in the use of mobile technologies for health (m-Health) in both high and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Cinnamomum cassia is a well-known traditional medicine for improvement of blood circulation. An extract of this plant showed both platelet anti-aggregation and blood anti-coagulation effects in preliminary testing.
