임태호 교수의 연구실은 중증 감염성 쇼크 환자의 예후 예측 및 비침습적 치료 기술 개발을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 락트산/알부민 비율, 델타 호중구 지수 등 혈액 생물학적 마커를 활용한 조기 예측 모델 개발과 함께, 플라즈마 의학 기반의 상처 치유 및 피부 전달 시스템의 기전 규명에 주력하고 있습니다. 비침습적 진단 기술, 예를 들어 스마트폰을 활용한 원격 심장초음파 진단의 가능성 또한 탐색하고 있습니다.
