연구실 소개
김원배 교수의 연구실은 나노소재 합성과 응용, 특히 전도성 고분자 및 티타니아 기반 나노복합재를 중심으로 한 에너지 변환 및 저장 소재 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 전기화학적 방법을 활용한 다기능성 나노소재의 설계 및 특성 분석을 통해 수소 생산, 탄소모노옥시드 산화를 통한 전기 생성 등 친환경 에너지 기술의 핵심 소재를 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 객체지향 데이터베이스 시스템의 쿼리 처리 및 모델링 기법에 대한 이론적 연구도 병행하고 있어, 소재 공학과 정보기술의 융합 연구가 두드러집니다.

15Different nanostructures (Ns), such as nanobelts, nanobricks and nanosheets, of polypyrrole (PPy) were successfully fabricated on stainless steel substrates by simply varying the scan rate of deposition in the potentiodynamic mode. We prepared metallic-nanoparticle-embedded one-dimensional titanium dioxide (1D-TiO 2 ) via a one-step electrospinning process, in which Au or Ag metallic nanoparticles between 5 and 10 nm in diameter were incorporated within the TiO 2 nanofibers. Electricity was produced by catalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide (CO) by using gold catalysts at room temperature.
