김완규 교수의 연구실은 인공지능 기반 신약개발, 단백질-단백질 상호작용 예측, 바이오메트릭스 기술 등 생명정보학과 딥러닝의 융합을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 약물 재포지셔닝 예측, 단백질 도메인 간 상호작용의 기하학적 분류, 손가락 혈관 영상 인식의 정밀도 향상 기술 개발을 통해 신약 발굴과 생명현상 해석에 기여하고 있습니다. 복잡한 생물학적 네트워크의 진화 메커니즘을 수학적 모델로 규명하는 데에도 기여하고 있습니다.
