연구실 소개

정원윤 교수의 연구실은 암의 전이 및 치료 저항성 메커니즘을 규명하고, 천연물에서 유래한 생활화학물질을 활용한 신약 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히, 유방암의 뼈 전이를 조절하는 전사인자 HuR과 시그널 분자(CCL20, GM-CSF)의 역할, 그리고 구강암에서 뼈 침습을 억제하는 CCL28-CCR10 경로에 대한 기전 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 천연물 성분(예: 라이코차론 A, 칼로파넥스아미노산 A 등)이 화학요법의 독성과 암 성장에 미치는 영향을 평가하여, 보조 치료제로의 임상적 응용 가능성을 탐색하고 있습니다.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) frequently invades the maxillary or mandibular bone, and this bone invasion is closely associated with poor prognosis and survival. Here, we show that CCL28 functions as a negative regulator of OSCC bone invasion.
