연구실 소개

이 연구실은 주로 기생충, 특히 간흡충인 클론로르티스 시네누스(Clonorchis sinensis)의 병원성 메커니즘과 숙주-기생충 상호작용을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 기생충의 배출·분비물질(ESPs)이 간세포에 미치는 염증 반응 및 간세포암(초강모세포암) 유발 메커니즘을 단백질 수준에서 규명하고 있으며, 유전자 발현 프로파일링과 유전자 기반 진단 기술 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다. 또한 청각장애 유전자의 변이와 관련된 분자 기전 규명을 통해 희귀 유전성 난청의 진단 및 치료 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다.

DNA barcoding has been widely used in species identification and biodiversity research. A short fragment of the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) sequence serves as a DNA bio-barcode. The prevalence of Klebsiella pneumoniae coproducing carbapenemase metallo-β-lactamase 1 (NDM-1) and OXA-48 has been increasing globally since 2013. The complete genome of KP617 was sequenced and assembled into a circular chromosome and two plasmids. This sequence provides the genetic background for understanding the evolution of carbapenemase genes in K. pneumoniae KP617.
