김우재 교수의 연구실은 광물리 및 분자 동역학 분야에서 활동하며, 주로 분자 내 전하 이동과 에너지 전달 메커니즘을 실시간으로 관찰하고자 합니다. 특히, 복합 분자의 구조적 변화와 전자 상태의 상호작용을 시간 해상도가 높은 스펙트로스코피 기법을 통해 규명하고 있으며, 이는 광발전, 양자정보 및 생체영상 기술 등 응용 분야로 이어지는 핵심 기초 연구입니다. 최근에는 솔벤트 조절을 통한 전하분리 제어 및 비대칭 전하이동 메커니즘의 규명에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
