김욱성 교수의 연구실은 의료 기기 및 스마트 소재 분야에서 혁신적인 기술 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 특히 심폐소생술에서의 엑스트라코리얼 혈액순환(VA-ECMO)의 임상적 유용성과 고위험 환자 치료 전략에 대한 연구를 중심으로, 생명 연장과 환자 회복을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 동시에 나노구조 메타표면을 활용한 동적 색소재, 열변색성 센서, 스마트 윈도우 등 에너지 효율성과 실시간 정보 시각화를 구현하는 스마트 소재 기반의 혁신적 솔루션 개발도 진행 중입니다.

A thermochromic-based interactive sensor that can generate local color switching and pressure mapping is developed using a 2D array of resistive pressure sensor switch. Thermally or optically induced switching between the transparent state and a near-infrared (NIR) reflective state can be used for energy-saving windows.
