연구실 소개

나이랑 교수의 연구실은 암의 전이 메커니즘과 내재 면역세포의 기능 조절을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 종양 미세환경 내에서 활성화되는 종양 관련 매크로파지(TAM)와 그 조절 인자인 COX-2, 그리고 세균 감염에 대응하는 매크로파지가 방출하는 매크로파지 외세포망(METs)의 기능을 규명하고 있습니다. 또한, 염증 반응 조절과 세포 전환 과정에서의 신호전달 분자들, 예를 들어 BMP7이나 타우로데옥시콜레이트(TDCA)의 작용 기전을 밝혀내고 있습니다. 이는 암 치료 및 감염성 질환의 새로운 치료 전략 개발에 기여할 잠재력을 지닙니다.
