연구실 소개
윤여준 교수의 연구실은 장내 미생물군과 숙주의 대사 및 면역 상태 간의 상호작용을 중심으로, 비알코올성 간지방증후군, 비만, 항생제 내성 등 대사질환과 관련된 미생물학적 기전을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 16S rRNA 시퀀싱을 활용한 장내 미생물군집 분석과 함께, 조직 특이적 생체모델(예: 혀샘 기관류)을 통해 미생물-숙주 상호작용의 기초 메커니즘을 규명하고 있습니다. 최근에는 항생제 내성 유전자 및 병원성 바이러스의 유전자 진화와도 연계된 생태학적 전파 경로 분석을 통해 감염병의 예방 전략을 모색하고 있습니다.

15Erythromycin ribosome methyltransferase gene (erm) sequences of Mycobacterium massiliense and Mycobacterium bolletii isolates were newly investigated. BACKGROUND: Gut microbiota plays an important role in the harvesting, storage, and expenditure of energy obtained from one's diet. Our cross-sectional study aimed to identify differences in gut microbiota according to body mass index (BMI) in a Korean population. 16S rRNA gene sequence data from 1463 subjects were categorized by BMI into normal, overweight, and obese groups.
