김용배 교수의 연구실은 암 생물학과 방사선 옹호 치료의 기전을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 자율적 세포 사멸, 염증 반응, 세포 골격 재편성 등 암의 전이 및 치료 저항성과 관련된 분자 기전을 탐구하며, 방사선 치료 후 합병증인 폐내염, 림프부종 등의 위험 인자를 규명하고 있습니다. 또한, 종양 미세환경에서 면역세포와 암세포 간의 상호작용이 치료 반응에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 있습니다.
