연구실 소개

이용호 교수의 연구실은 천연물 합성 및 고도화된 유기합성 반응을 중심으로, 팔라듐 촉매를 활용한 고차원적 탄소-탄소 결합 형성 반응을 개발하고 있습니다. 특히, 원자 효율성이 높고 선택성이 우수한 새로운 Carbohalogen화 반응과 다기능성 사이클로펜텐온 유도체의 합성 전략을 통해 복잡한 유기분자 구조의 효율적 합성을 실현하고자 합니다. 또한, 단백질 분석을 위한 질량분석 기반의 N-말단 화학적 유도체화 기법 개발을 통해 생물학적 분석의 정밀도를 향상시키는 데에도 기여하고 있습니다.

We describe a general strategy for the intermolecular synthesis of polysubstituted cyclopentenones using palladium catalysis. Ether Synthesis through Reductive Cross-Coupling of Ketones with Alcohols Using Me2SiHCl as both Reductant and Lewis Acid

We report that a Lewis acidic silane, Me2SiHCl, can mediate the direct cross-coupling of a wide range of carbonyl compounds with alcohols to form dialkyl ethers. The reaction is operationally simple, tolerates a range of polar functional groups, can be utilized to make sterically hindered ethers, and is extendable to sulfur and nitrogen nucleo­philes.

A new approach for the preparation of amides was developed using C-C bond cleavage that initiates C- to N-acyl transfer, employing activated ketones as acylation reagents and amine nucleophiles. The reaction was operational under the coupling reagent system that is commonly utilized for peptide bond formations. The method enables practical preparation of amides using linear and cyclic ketone substrates under mild conditions.
