Jirawat Yongsawatdigul, Yong Jun Choi, S. Udomporn
SJR Q1Journal of Food Science

ABSTRACT: The formation of biogenic amines in fish sauce made from fresh and temperature-abused (left at 35°C for 8 and 16 h) Indian anchovy (Stolephorus indicus) was investigated. Histamine, cadaverine, putrescine, and tyramine were the predominant biogenic amines found in anchovy left at 35°C for 16 h and its fish sauce product. Changes of biogenic amines were subtle during the course of fermentation at room temperature (RT) and at 40°C, suggesting that the main source of biogenic amines was a

Case Reports in Oncological MedicineOA

Neurolymphomatosis (NL) is a rare clinical disease where neoplastic cells invade the cranial nerves and peripheral nerve roots, plexus, or other nerves in patients with hematologic malignancy. Most NL cases are caused by B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Diagnosis can be made by imaging with positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We experienced two cases of NL involving the brachial plexus in patients with NHL. One patient, who had NHL with central nervous sy

Transcriptional regulation of the Drosophila caudal homeobox gene by DRE/DREF
Yong Jun Choi
SJR Q1Nucleic Acids ResearchOA

The caudal-related homeobox transcription factors are required for the normal development and differentiation of intestinal cells. Recent reports indicate that misregulation of homeotic gene expression is associated with gastrointestinal cancer in mammals. However, the molecular mechanisms that regulate expression of the caudal-related homeobox genes are poorly understood. In this study, we have identified a DNA replication-related element (DRE) in the 5' flanking region of the Drosophila caudal
