최용선 교수의 연구실은 주로 척추외과 및 고령 환자를 대상으로 한 수술 후 통증 관리와围수기 안정화를 핵심 목표로 삼고 있습니다. 다중 약물 조합(예: 프레가바린, 덱사메타손), 신경차단(예: PENG 블록), 그리고 비만성 혈관 수술에서의 혈액 희석제 선택 등 다양한 약리학적·마취적 전략의 효과를 임상적 랜덤화 시험을 통해 평가하고 있습니다. 특히 수술 후 통증 감소, 오ピ오이드 소비 감소, 염증 반응 조절 및 기능 회복 촉진을 위한 다학제 통증 관리 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
