연구실 소개
박용성 교수의 연구실은 생체재료 및 생체역학적 유체의 거동을 중심으로 한 실험적·이론적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 비정상 유체의 점탄성 거동, 예를 들어 카르보폴 용액과 점성 진흙 밀도층 내의 파동 유동을 분석하여 유체의 비탄성 및 유변학적 특성이 생체 및 환경 시스템에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 있습니다. 또한 임상적 응용을 목표로 한 의료 기기 및 백신 개발 분야에서도 활발한 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 담도 결석 제거 기법 개발과 함께 바이오센서 기반의 면역반응 유도 백신 기술을 개발하고 있습니다.

15The generation of protective humoral immune responses against the receptor-binding domain (domain IV) of protective antigen [PA(dIV)] of Bacillus anthracis represents a plausible approach against anthrax toxin. In the current study, we have developed a naked DNA vaccine encoding calreticulin (CRT) linked to PA(dIV) of Bacillus anthracis [CRT/PA(dIV)]. We transfected a human embryonic kidney cell line (HEK 293) with CRT/PA(dIV) DNA and performed Western blotting and confocal microscopy analysis.
