연구실 소개
김용철 교수의 연구실은 심혈관계 질환, 특히 급성 심근경색과 관상동맥질환의 발생 메커니즘과 치료 전략을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 한국심근경색등록부(KAMIR)를 기반으로 한 대규모 임상 연구를 통해 동아시아 환자 특성에 맞는 진단 및 치료 방안을 모색하고 있으며, 혈관 접근법의 신뢰성과 안전성에 대한 임상적 증거를 제시하고 있습니다. 또한 세포 내 산화환원 조절과 관련된 단백질(예: 티오레도신, Nrf2 등)의 기능과 유전자 조절 메커니즘에 대한 기초 생물학적 연구도 병행하고 있습니다.
