김용찬 교수의 연구실은 재난 대비 및 회복력 강화를 중심으로, 지역 사회의 커뮤니케이션 자원과 주민의 행동 간 상호작용을 분석합니다. 특히 지역 미디어, 지역조직, 지인 네트워크 등 지역 수준의 커뮤니케이션 자원이 재난 대비 행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 탐구하며, 이웃 소속감이 재난 대비 행동에 미치는 중재적 역할에 초점을 맞춥니다. 연구는 실제 지역 사회의 사례를 바탕으로 한 실증적 분석을 통해 정책적 시사점을 도출합니다.
