연구실 소개
유구한 교수의 연구실은 신장세포암과 같은 우라기계 질환의 분자 기전을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 DNA 메틸화 변화와 관련된 유전자 발현 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 유전자 메틸화 프로파일링 기술을 활용해 암세포에서의 이Selectors, 특히 HOXA5, MSH2, IL8 등의 유전자에서 관찰되는 메틸화 이상을 규명하고 있으며, 이는 암의 조기 진단 및 표적 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고자 합니다. 또한, 염증 관련 유전자(예: IL10, IL10R)의 유전자 다형성과 양성전립선비대 간의 연관성 연구를 통해 인구집단 특화 질병 메커니즘을 탐색하고 있습니다.
