연구실 소개

이영호 교수의 연구실은 바이러스 유전자가 간세포암을 유발하는 메커니즘과 세포 신호전달 경로의 조절 원리를 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 허브염B바이러스의 HBx 단백질이 JAK-STAT, Ras/MAPK 등 다양한 신호 경로를 활성화하며 암 발생에 기여하는 기전을 연구하고 있으며, 전사 조절에 관여하는 공활성화단백질(CARM1, p300/CBP 등)의 기능과 메틸화 조절 메커니즘에 대해서도 깊이 있는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 또한 혈관 및 폐포세포에서의 세포 신호전달, 특히 ER 스트레스와 고혈압의 연관성에 대한 기초 연구도 진행 중입니다.

The mechanism of phospholipase D (PLD) activation by platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) was examined using a NIH 3T3 fibroblast cell line (3T3-gamma 1) that stably overexpresses PLC-gamma 1 isozyme.
