연구실 소개

현영민 교수의 연구실은 면역세포의 이동과 체내 이동 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로, 특히 T세포와 백혈구의 염증 부위 유입 과정에서 중추적인 역할을 하는 화학유인물질과 세포 간 상호작용을 실시간으로 규명하고자 합니다. 특히, 호중구가 형성하는 화학유인물질 흔적을 통해 세포역할을 조절하는 메커니즘과, 적응형 면역 반응을 조절하는 세포외기질 및 엔도테리움 상의 수용체 상호작용을 다룹니다. 이는 감염, 염증성 질환 및 신경염증의 치료 전략 개발에 기여할 잠재력을 지닙니다.
