연구실 소개

김영모 교수의 연구실은 심장 질환, 연골 및 연부조직 손상, 그리고 특수 환경에서 생존하는 미생물의 대사 메커니즘을 중심으로 다학제적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 심방 fibrillation의 발병 기전에서 산화 스트레스와 NAD(P)H 옥시다제의 역할을 규명하고, 관절 내시경을 활용한 힘줄 및 연골 손상의 수술적 복구 기법을 개발하며, 일氧化성 가스를 에너지원으로 이용하는 극한미생물의 대사 기전을 탐구하고 있습니다. 이는 심혈관계 질환의 예방 및 치료 전략 개발과 신체 기능 회복 기술의 혁신을 위한 기초 연구입니다.
